Regulations and baggage limitations
Pasajeros de Transporte Echo tiene el derecho de 80 libras de equipaje. Equipaje adicional se va a considerar y tratar como exceso. El equipaje no debe de exceder 62 pulgadas cuando calculando el total de las dimensiones del exterior (amplitud, longitud y altitud). Por cada libra extra, después de las 80 libras permitidas, será sujeto a un cargo extra de $1por libra de exceso. Pasajeros son responsables por transferir su equipaje. Equipaje de plástico de cualquier tamaño o forma no será aceptable ni permitido como equipaje. Equipaje registrado solamente puede contener ropa y artículos de aseo. Transportaciones Echo no se va ser responsable ni considerado responsable por ningún dinero, joyería o electrónico personal de alto valor. Por favor tenga en cuenta que no se emitirán reembolsos por denegar equipaje de exceso. Todo equipaje es sujeto a inspección por autoridades locales, estatales y federales. Transporte Echo no será responsable por equipaje incautado o detenido en cualquier frontera o estado en cual haya autoridades locales, estatales o federales.
Federal Regulations and Carrier's Tariffs require that all Baggage must be properly identified. Baggage I.D. Tags must clearly show the name and address to which lost baggage should be forwarded. Free Baggage I.D Tags are available upon request. Additionally, the passenger's name address must be on the inside of all baggage. We are not responsible for baggage detained by United States or Mexican Customs. Echo transportation does not assumes or accepts any liability for lost, damaged, breakage, and or deterioration of any articles being transported.
Passengers are permitted one carry-on bag/luggage up to 25 to pounds stow away in the overhead compartments. No carry-on bags are permitted on the hallway or in the leg room area. Should the said carry-on bag be too big to safely stow in the overhead compartment, it will be required to be checked in and treated as excess luggage when applicable. Echo Transportation is not responsible for any carry-on bag/luggage in your possession inside the bus. Personal electronic devices include but not limited to laptops, tablets, cell phones, cameras or other personal devices should be carried in your carry-on bag.
Interstate Liability on Lost Baggage
The maximum liability to Echo Transportation is $250.00 for all baggage checked (not including items checked as overweight, oversized and or excess baggage) per adult ticket and $125.00 per child's ticket. Neither Echo Transportation nor other participating bus carriers are responsible for the loss of or damage to baggage in excess of the value allowances. Echo Transportation will only be responsible to the extent of the actual loss or damage sustained based on the actual baggage at the time and place of checking, and will NOT accept any liability for unchecked baggage. See individual Baggage Policies for each carrier(s) on your itinerary for specific liability limits on those carriers; however, liability limits for carriers are set forth by law as follow:
Refund and Exchanges
Tickets are non-refundable. However, qualifying tickets can be exchanged for a maximum of one (1) time only to a future date and time not to exceed 90 days from the date of purchase. Fees may apply. Ticket will be considered null in full at day 91 from the origination date of purchase. Exchange request must be made before the schedule travel date and time printed on a valid ticket. Failure to secure a new travel date and time before departure will render ticket null and void. All exchanges are subject to availability; furthermore, origin and destination cannot be changed. All tickets are non-transferable. With the exception of accommodations for the disabled and elderly , seating is on a first come/first served basis and is without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or any other protected characteristic.
Unused Portioned Ticket
An "unused portion ticket" is, but not limited to, voluntary or involuntary termination of a trip prior to its completion. The unused portion of a ticket is non-refundable.
Qualified Discounts After Completed Purchase
All discounts must be applied at the time of purchase. Echo Transportation cannot apply a discount after a sale has been completed.
Customers are responsible for the safe keeping of their tickets at all times. Echo Transportation cannot reissue or reprint lost, damaged or destroyed tickets. Lost, damage or destroyed tickets will be considered null and void; therefore, non-refundable.
Promotional and/or deeply discounted tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are valid only for the date and time printed and cannot be changed to a future date. Terms and conditions may apply.
Minor Traveling Alone
Minor is defined as 17 years and under at the time of departure. Minor traveling alone will be denied boarding and the ticket will be considered null and void. Refund will not be issued
Tickets are valid only for the scheduled date and time printed and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Tickets and or Boarding Passes presented by any person other than the name printed will be considered nulled and or voided.
Child: Passengers between the ages of 2 and 11 may travel at the discounted rate when traveling with an adult of 18 years or older. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined. Any passenger under the age of 18 traveling alone will need to be accompanied by a paying passenger of 18 years or older. Failure to comply will render ticket null and void. A limit of one child who has not reached their 2nd birthday will be transported for free as long as the said child is lap-bound and is not entitled to a seat; furthermore, should the desire and or need to transport the said child in a car seat, the child will be upgraded to the child discounted rate.
Adult: Passengers ages 11 to 64 may travel at the adult rate. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined.
Seniors: Passengers ages 65 and up may travel at the discounted rate. Passenger must present a valid government issued I.D. at the time of purchase. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined.
All fares are quoted in U.S. Dollars; unless, otherwise noted.
All schedule times are based on local time zones. Departure dates and times are subject to change. Echo Transportation is not responsible for delays caused by breakdowns, road conditions, weather or any conditions beyond the carrier’s control. Echo Transportation is not liable for any inconvenience or expense caused as a result of such delay(s). Echo Transportation does not assume any responsibility for any transportation over the road by any said Bus Carrier and or Carriers listed/printed on an itinerary, ticket(s), boarding pass(s) and or receipts other than responsibility imposed by law in respect to checked baggage. Echo Transportation is not responsible for the acts and negligence committed by any interline and or connecting bus carries inside or outside U.S. International Borders.

Title VI Discrimination Complaints
With the exception of accommodations for the disabled and elderly passengers, seating is on a first come/first served basis and is without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or any other protected characteristic. Should you feel your rights may have been infringed by Echo Coach Lines (hereinafter referred to as “ECHO”) you may file a complaint by submitting a Title VI Complaint Form. Echo investigates complaints received no more than 180 days after the alleged incident. Echo will process complaints that are complete.
Properly completed complaint form will be reviewed by ECHO to determine if our office has jurisdiction. A letter of acknowledgement will be sent informing the complainant whether the complaint will be investigated. ECHO has 45 days to investigate the complaint. Should more information be needed, ECHO may contact the complainant in writing as needed. The complainant has 15 days from the date of the letter to send requested information to ECHO. Should in the event that ECHO is not contacted or does not receive the information requested within 30 days, ECHO can administratively close the case. A case can be administratively close upon the complainant’s request.
After ECHO reviews the complaint, one of two letters will be issued to the complainant, Letter of Closure or a Letter of Finding (LOF) A letter of closure summarizes the allegations and states that there was not a Title VI violation and the case will be closed. A letter of finding summarizes the allegations regarding the alleged incident, and explains whether any disciplinary action, training of staff, or any other action will take place. Should complainant wish to appeal the decision, he/she has 30 days from the date of the letter or the LOF.
